How IMG friendly is Florida?

Which hospitals in Florida would you recommend for elective rotations and for residency for an IMG?

Currently I am finishing up my second year of medical school, and I have major interests in anesthesiology and internal medicine. I am hoping to stay in my home state of Florida for rotations and residency/fellowship.

Florida is chock full of hospitals with community IM programs, and a ton of academic ones. There are a LOT of Ross/AUA/etc grads in those hospitals.

I think for rotations and match list the advice is the same: Shoot for the best programs you can. Each residency website will show you where the docs came from, and you can find ones who have previous IMG matches pretty easily.

The quality of residency training in FL is pretty varied from what my friends there tell me
