^ Yes it is, and yes I do.

Two years, and my cGPA is 2.73 lol…..wow i think epic fail sums it up pretty nicely.

What I need to know is that should I slog for 2 years more (possibly an extra semester depending on how bad my gpa is) aim to get a 4.0, ace my MCAT (im realistic about that not happening) and apply for MD just for the hell of it?

Should I look into Carribean schools?

Should I apply DO?

Or, should I just settle for Burger King and the wonderful of fry-making business (I don't think my GPA is good enough for Taco Bell lol)?

And im pretty sure my situation is no longer consistent with that avatar, but w/e Timon is awesome.

Do your best to make 4.0s esp in science classes. Retake classes below a C. Get a 33 MCAT. And stop being so self deprecating. You might have some options.

tompi 90,
you said yourself that you have a problem being confident about yourself.
If being a doctor is your true dream, you should definitely believe in yourself before you believe others. Otherwise, how are you gonna trust yourself to deal with other people's lives?
First of all, pre-med track is very rigorous, and only diligent (but not necesarilly smart) people can handle the work.
Let's be honest with yourself: can you seriously tell yourself that you devoted all your time to your school work?
Many people have personal problems, but they overcome it by using their dream as a motivation.
Does thinking about becoming a doctor motivate you at all?
If taking tests scares you, do you think you would be happy as a physician?
If you believe that becoming a doctor is your dream, you have to get rid of your fear by trusting yourself.
Usually, the fear comes from lack of preparation.
If you study enough to understand everything, you wouldn't be scared.
By diligently studying, I know people who read their orgo books three times in addition to taking their notes plus doing all the in chapter problems and reviewing them plus doing a final review to make sure they know every single thing. This obviously is in addition to not skipping lectures and going to all office hours of professors and teaching assistants. Did you do this?
If you didn't, try it, and see how you do. If you work or do other stuff, you should probably quit and devote everything to raising your gpa because that's what you really need now.
I am sorry if I sounded too harsh, but I really think you need to try your best before you give up.
