Can someone help me understand what this means please? Some schools say the focus "on the last 120 hours" of your coursework. Does this mean grades of the last 120 hours on your aacomas application? Is that the same as semester units? So would that mean like the last 3 years or something?

Thank you! 🙂

That means if you were young and stupid and partied your first year away, they are giving you a break and are focusing on that last portion of college life where you can show an upward trend and got back on track. So yes, the most recent coursework.

Thanks for the reply! So how many past years (semester) would 40 and 120 units (hours?) refer to?

Well, a standard science class is 4 credits a semester. Say you take 4 science courses. That's 16 per semester or 32 credits/yr. Throw in a few "fun classes" for another 8 credits/ yr

So 40 credits yr for 3 years = 120 credits.
