This message is regarding my earlier message in which I describe the fiasco that happened on the day I took step one (i.e., the test giver arrived 2 hours late--see the message below). I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your advice and help. I emailed both prometric and the NBME about the problem. Prometric asked me to call them and discuss the problem with them. NBME said that they are conducting an investigation and they will get back to me within two weeks.

But, regarding my score...

My score (from test taken on June 8th) arrived via email at my school today. I only got the 3 digit score from our school and I got a 254. Somebody below wanted to know how this compares with each person's other scores. I didn't do a full Qbank, but a friend gave me his after he finished his test, and I did like 450 questions in the 3 days before my USMLE. On these questions, I was averaging around 85% with a range of 78% to 92%. My MCAT score was a 32 (V=9, PS=11, BS=12). I never took the two full NBME tests, but on some 200 question NBME test our school administered I got a 240.

Again, I wanted to say thanks to you guys for all of your kind words and support. When I get my 2 digit score, I will update this thread.

Best of luck to those of you who haven't yet taken the test or received your score.

Take care,
Adam

Congrats on your accomplishment, particularly with what happened. Hope that no one else has to deal with what you did.

As an aside-- I guess this post and a couple others have now put into question the release date of July 14th for tests taken in June? Guess I should check my mailbox soon (took on June 11th, in case anyone has gotten scores from this date, let me know so that I can go into full panic mode) 😱

In case you weren't sure, a 3 digit score of 254 gives you a 2 digit score of 99. So you got 254/99. Nice work.

congrats dude....i knew u were going to run through that exam.....good luck on everything...

still ask them for 7 more points 😡 😀
