I called University of Buffalo and the lady told me that they require higher GPA and DAT scores from Canadian applicants. she said my GPA and DAT scores are too low... 🙁. so I asked her whether I even have a chance of getting an interview this year and she said people who are on the continuing review section are pretty much rejection unless they improve their GPA or DAT scores before the deadline. SO yea.... If you recieved an e-mail saying you are placed on "Continuing review" section. Just forget about getting an interview... or just rewrite DAT and score like 27 .......

my stats are oGPA 3.7 cGPA 3.7 sGPA 3.7
DAT scores are
AA:19
TS:19
PA:20

I do not know why they have so high expectation.

Good game Buffalo..

Man...that sucks 🙁 And you have a pretty high gpa already! I guess I kinda already expected that email to pretty much lead to a rejection

Hey, I'm a Canadian applicant as well and I talked about this with them last week. The person had told me I was a very competitive applicant GPA/DAT wise (same DAT score as you, higher GPA though). She had only mentioned that at this point in time they are giving preference to NY residents, as Canadians are not their top selection.
Nothing about automatic rejection though, so I think you're considering it to early to think that still.
