If you go to Case Western Med, I have a question: What is the first year schedule like? As I understand it, we would be in class 8-12 five days a week. But does this include anatomy as well, or does that run longer (into the afternoons)? What about histology labs and whatnot? Are those also in the afternoon?

What does a typical week at Case look like for an MS1 and MS2?

I'm a current third year, but I think it is still the same. Class is from 8-12 three days/week, and 8-1 two days/week. This time includes histology and anatomy labs. The only things scheduled for afternoons are electives, physical diagnosis, and your patient stuff. It truly worked out that way, and it wasn't like "alright kids you have 20 hours of work to cram into your 2 hour anatomy lab time!". The anatomy and histology goes for most of first and some of second year, so it is pretty reasonable.
