Hey what' going on,
I was wondering if anyone out there wants to host me on the night of January 18th at Cornell, I've got my interview the next day. It'd be awesome to meet some current students while I'm in NYC (I'm from Cali), of if I can't stay with you maybe get some dinner that night?

try contacting the admissions office to see if they can set you up w/ a student to stay with. (an observation -- I don't see many Cornell students on this board...) And also, if you do decide to do the hotel thing, any hotel in the city/with access to a subway stop would be convenient for the interview. The school's only a 3 block walk from the Lexington Ave. stop. Very easy to get to.

Better book a hotel now. Shouldn't be too bad now. Go to hotels.com or book it with your flight.
