I'm in personal statement hell! I had no idea how difficult it would be to pick and choose the things that best exemplify me as qualified to be a physician...even harder, picking out the top three (just thought three was a good number, no other reason there) so that I could finesse my way into the adcoms hearts and write something mildly significant about each attribute rather than writing "you should admit me because I have a ton of clinical experience, I'm a compassionate person, not a total blockhead, and I really like learning!"
unless you guys think I'd be better off just going with that last sentence...after all, I take everything I read on SDN for gospel...could you pick my schools for me too please? 👍
Christ...I need to take a break...but here's one legitimate question and I'll conclude this rant - what do you all think about a PS without a distinct conclusion? Like I mentioned, I'm writing on three themes all related to why I'll be a great MD. If I make a point to wrap up each of the themes well within the essay, and have a strong concluding sentence to my final theme, think I can get away with no summarizing/concluding paragraph?
thanks, SDN is a great resource, sorry to be so cynical,
Liz
