So I have begun making flashcards in preparation for my final 2 days (since I know by then I am not going to tolerate reading and I'm gonna want to memorize stuff like rate limiting steps, enzymes deficiencies etc.

I thought I'd mention this app to you guys called "mental case". It is available on the mac and the iphone and you can sync between the two of them.

Its amazing on the mac because it blackens the whole screen up when it gives you the flashcard and you can check whether you got it right or wrong, and if you get it wrong it adds it back into the pile of cards to be used and the session doesnt end until you have all check marks.

I also love it because having it on the iphone enables me to still take gym breaks and study stuff I hate to normally look at like the enzymes in the lysosomal storage diseases.

Anyway, its a top notch program for mac/iphone users

a few other things i love about it:
-took me under an hour and and I already have 154 flashcards made; and I probably learned while making them too
-you can separate by category, so I have lysosomal storage diseases as one folder and rate limiting steps as another, etc.

just thought i'd pass it along, it is really going to help me remember those minor details last minute.

thanks for the tip poker, i use anki, its free and it uses the spaced learning theory
