Just out of curiosity, how long after receiving confirmation e-mails and letters in the mail (from schools you applied to) did you receive interview invites? Obviously I am going to be patient and wait to hear back from schools (I have no other choice), but a time frame would be nice to have as a point of reference. Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone.

Varies widely from school to school. Some haven't even begun reviewing apps. Hence, it depends on where you apply. I heard back from Nova in July, and that was my fastest turnaround. My apps were mailed out on June 12.

I agree it just depends on the school. First correspondence from Indiana was the invite for an interview. Baylor sent conformation of application received back in July and I just received the invite. So it just depends. There are still a number of schools that have yet to acknowledge the application as received. Really depends on the number of applications they are dealing with.

So for example, last week one of my schools updated AADSAS saying "received/under review". For those of you who had a similar situation, about how long would you say it took to hear back from the school? Something like two weeks or a month?

I can't help you with that. Both of my interviews the schools did not update thru AADSAS. Maybe you should contact the schools to find out where they stand in the process. Some schools have already began interviews while others don't start until Sept. Good Luck!!

Last year I had several schools who updated AADSAS with "received/under review", it stayed this way for some schools until feb. Get ready for the long haul.

Yup.

Here's when I heard from schools about an interview last cycle:

NYU- last week of September (email)
Temple- last week of September
Penn - last week of January
Tufts- first week of Feb. (email)
