is it ok to write out the number instead of spelling stuff out?
like 4th year > fourth year
2nd year > second year
3rd grade > third grade
2 week > two week

I always adhere to the rule - if it’s under 10, spell it out. I think it looks slightly better. I know it’s easy to get caught up in small details like this, but don’t sweat it.

I agree with wwdentist.

If you are short on characters, take out one or two useless sentences (I am sure you will find one or two after you rigorously analyze your personal statement.

Do you really believe that by using Arabic numerals/contractions and thus able to add, perhaps, an additional short sentence, it would significantly alter your future?
