When you holepunch using the 4x4 grid technique, do you fold the paper in your head in the forward direction as its being folded, then go backwards as you fill in the dots on your paper..
OR
are you able to do it by just going backwards? I feel like it's taking a lot of time to go forward then backward, and then I lose train of thought and get confused.
How much time can you get this subsection down to?

After 4-5 CDP tests you get used to the folds and can figure them out in a quick glance and then start going backwards. Try to avoid using the 4x4 method as much as possible. It is really good practice to do the question in your head. I used 4x4 on 1-2 question in CDP and on 2 on the real DAT.

Try to not look at the choices until you find the answer (unless you've already spent 40 seconds on the question, then try to use elimination). Once you figure out the answer in your head find it in the choices.

I was able to do this section in 7.5 minutes on average and get 14 correct on average. I think with practice this and cube counting are by far the easiest sections and you could get 15 on it on the real DAT no problem.
