I'm in the middle of deciding what master programs to go into, there are those in Finch, BU, GTown and MCP. Have any of you med students actually graduated from those programs and got into med school immediately (without waiting additional year)?

If so, which one did you go to, what's your evaluation and how about your stat back then? Any information will be highly appreciated!! Thanks a bunch!

As a current master's student (BU) who will be entering UHSCOM this coming fall, it is doable, but stressful to try to apply & get the master's in a year. As you are studying harder than you can imagine AND in class competing with med students, you are completing secondaries & chasing down that last letter of recommendation! If you are confident in your scores/GPA from undergrad, I would say give it a shot, but if you want/need to apply to med school out of the master's program, one year isn't really going to cut it. After only one semester (or less) the master's program profs. won't be able to write any letters or give you grades to prove yourself otherwise if you need to make up for deficiencies in undergrad, etc... Consider also that a thesis is required for some of these programs, and that takes time too! I hope this was helpful & good luck!
