Hey guys,

As the interview period approaches, ppl are starting to plan for their trips.

I just would like to give you guys a suggestion about transportation, especially late night ones. I found this really helpful, remembering how late I was when I arrive to the airport the day before my interview last year.

There is this app called UBER (for those of you who are not familiar with it), it is basically a door to door taxi service. You place your order on your cellphone, someone will then pick you up, and no cash involved. You will put your credit card information when you register and you will be charged automatically. What's nice about it is that it is cheaper than regular taxi service and it is pretty much available 24 hours a day.

Another thing is that they are running a promo right now. Use my promo code YM99C (insert the code in the "promotion" section). You and I will get a free ride (up to 30 bucks value).

You can use the standard non-referral promo code FIRSTRIDE30 good until the end of the year. Lyft also has a similar first ride promo code so you can get another ride.

I think some airports enforce a permit policy for taxi/uber pickups, so you'll have to use Uber's premium service (which is considerably more expensive)

Hahaha bro SDN has been so weird lately on my laptop and having old posts show up as recent posts so I didn't even realize how old this was til you pointed it out...I thought it was recent!

You'll be saving even more if you use uberpool if you are in any of the major cities, NYC LA and SF. I spent 50$ on "regular" uber to get from the airport to the hotel in LA but only 15$ to get from the hotel to the airport because I used the pool option.
