How did you feel afterwards? I recently had my first MMI experience and feel like I totally blew it, despite having fairly strong interview skills.

Wondering if feeling this way after an MMI is common, or if I really did screw it up.

If you did MMI last cycle and were accepted, how did you feel afterwards?

Thanks in advance.

I think it depends on schools. Some MMIs are easier and more laid back than other MMIs. Some MMIs require substantial background knowledge, while other MMIs don't.

So I think it is very common and normal. I am certain there are other applicants who felt the same way. Screwing up in a few stations might not matter as much if you excelled in other stations. I wouldn't worry about it now, since nothing else can be done at this point. You should be fine!

Thanks for the thoughtful response. Trying not to fret too much about it.

Man. No matter how well you do in your interview, you're still going to agonize about it. That's just emotional trauma associated with this process.

You just have to let it go and wait for the letter. Nothing you can do now. Don't have a CVA over it.

I've had a couple of interview MMI's. Some went better than others, but that's the point of having MMI's. Some interview questions I was more prepared to face than others. At times, I felt like the interviewers wanted really specific answers. Some were better at guiding me to these answers than others, but that is to be expected. Don't fret about it - you can only be yourself, and if that isn't what your interviewers want, then move on, hopefully to interviewers who will appreciate who you are. 👍
