I know that I will find out tomorrow when I arrive at the pro-metric center but I was just curious....

Are we allowed to use earplugs during the exam?

I also heard that you must press "CE" on the calculator during the QR section to receive correct calculations. Did anyone else have more trouble with the calculator.

Can anyone help me out on these small issues? I would greatly appreciate it.

1) I'm not sure about earplugs but if your worried about noise they gave out noise-cancelling headphones when I took the DAT.

2) I was not unfortunate enough to have calculator problems on the DAT, so I did not have to hit the CE button for the calculator to work.

At my center:
There are noise-canceling headphones available IN the test room. If those don't work, they say they have earplugs available.
Dunno about any calculator problems... just that they're uncomfortable to use :\
