Cliff's is dry, yeah. We heard it many times!

The first time, you might think you know what the passage is about, but you won't know until you read it again.

It took me maybe reading something twice for it to click, and I supplement Cliff's with Barrons.

I use Barrons for Physiology, Immunology, and probably Cell respiration/Photosynthesis.

I think it is a great book that explains it to people who needs to see it visually for the process.

I think cliff's is good for 1) abbreviated content, and 2) quizes. It could be a great book if they just included more beautiful, full color figures like they have in Campbell. I think that would it far less dry.

I always tell EVERYONE that Barron's is a better read. I didn't dread reading through it nearly as much. However, it was certainly useful to use both books. Seeing something explained two different ways can help it "stick!"

For those who are more visual learners, I suggest Craig Savage videos on YouTube. He covers most topics very thoroughly. I use Barron's as a companion to his videos.

How long did it took you to finish all his videos? I finished reading All cliff's and half of Barrons.

I haven't finished yet, taking my DAT in July. Videos are lengthy but it helps with understanding exponentially when you go back and read the corresponding topics.
