Since I didn't get any interview invites 😳, I have a question about the it..
If you get invited, do you get to choose the date and time?
And do people go to interviews around a month after they got contacted??
Just wondering because I am taking a class that allows only 2 absences (one class per week)

It depends on the school. Some give a list of dates to choose from and some already schedule the interview for you. I would not sweat it. I'm sure the prof will allow you to miss a class due to a d-school interview.

I know professors are much less likley to put up a fuss if you miss class to interview for grad school. It's a very legit excuse.
