For those who interviewed at BU

I interviewed at BU around mid October (the 20th I think) and soon thereafter received a letter outlining the the rest of the application process. ie - Letters will be sent out in late Dec/early Jan to a small number of acceptances and the rest will be deferred until February.

My question is this, did everyone receive this same letter or did they anyone receive a letter telling them they were being put into the "close to being accepted pile"? I have some friends who applied here last year and they told me they all recieved letters congratulating them on fine interviews and that they were basically pretty close to being accepted without the actual acceptace.

Basically, I just want to know where i stand and see if some people higher on the total pole than yours truly. I know it is a lil selfish but I figure this way we can see if we are all in the same boat or not.

Yes everyone who interviews at BU before January gets this letter; that's what Dr. Wirtzburg told us at the interview day
