First of all, i read someone saying that is more of thinking and not staright out problems like kaplan and so forth.... true or false, what r they like and example please.

second of all those of u who used Destroyer, how similiar were the questions, please tell me for each section thank you😍:luck::xf:

yeah i keep reading that the questions especially in bio are not as straightforward. as these practice tests. i wish i knew what that meant!! i wish i had a good reresentation of bio and RC. seems as though thats what people are finding the most different from the practice tests......

I know its frustrating, but the good thing about the practice exams is that it helps re-ensure that you know the concepts.

A few bio questions took me through a scenerio type of question and you just had to apply the things you know from the concepts to come to the right answer.

I had a couple of genetics questions that were not straight forward and didnt give you nice outputs or percentages of offspring produced and you would have to come to the best conclusion based on the percentages they provide you.

Reading comp was pretty much the same, not too different. Mine was longer though then most of the practices. You're probably guaranteed to get at least one passage that is just a beast! Mine was the second, it was 15 paragraphs long and it was on the spinal cord.

The first statement is definitely false. Unlike the MCAT, the DAT is more of straight out problem solving as oppose to thinking. However, you WILL see few challenging questions in each section of the exam that require some additional thought. Nevertheless, the majority of the questions (specially in case of G-chem and O-chem) are straight out problem solving.
In my view, destroyer questions are somewhat more challenging than the real exam, but they definitely cover every single topic that could potentially show up on the exam. So, going through destroyer is a great way to prepare for the DAT. This is specially true for G-chem and O-chem, because after doing 200+ questions, you've been almost exposed to every type of question that might show up on the exam, so you wont spend 20-30 seconds trying to come up with a strategy, when you see the question; instead, since you've solved many similar questions before, you can immediately move on to your calculations and come up with an answer!
