For those of us planning to matriculate in year 2008, when should we take the MCAT? And is it realistic to expect the professors with whom we are taking classes to write us letters of recs if we're not finished taking classes with them?
I read somewhere that we should start planning the application process 15 months in advance of the year we plan on entering school. That would be, like, now. Are these appropriate questions to ask of our program advisor? She takes awhile to get back to students.
