Greetings SDN!

This summer I will be going to Asia for an extended break with my family, but I didn't want to spend all of my time (roughly 2 months worth!) not doing anything to contribute to my application. I am fortunate enough to land a shadowing spot under a hospital dentist in the city, but are shadowing hours under a non-US dentist valid? Of course, I have shadowed US based dentist before, but I thought this would be a good use of my time while being away.

Yes. I shadowed in my country and put it in AADSAS. No one mentioned it during my interview. It is supplemental, but it probably wouldn't count to meet the minimum of hours. However, it would probably count as "additional hrs"
I did a total of 40 in my country and 103 in USA.
I think is a great addition because you can compare how things are done here vs there.
