I already got them evaluated. That is te easy part. But if I need to request transcripts from India, it will take a while. Sounds like I need to do that as well?

BTW, I am planning to submit AACOMAS application in a day or two. Am I too late?

In my mind, late July is still fairly early, but keep in mind that the next thing that happens is verification. AACOM goes line-by-line through your transcripts and (in theory) they verify what you've claimed on your app. August is the peak app season, so even without that India transcript it would be 6-8 weeks before your app goes out to schools. All I'm saying is be ready to be patient.

Get that India transcript ordered, and don't hesitate to spend some money to rush it - it's worth it. Meanwhile, make sure that the evaluation gets to AACOM as well - they may or may not start verification until one or both of these arrive.

Brace yourself, this is where the roller coaster starts.

It also depends a bit. Was this a study abroad type situation or did you attend that university and transfer to the states?

I was technically an official student at a German university, but it was study abroad and the credits just counted as classes at my home university. I did NOT have to send the foreign transcripts. They did change it to say that I attended that university, but nothing was put on hold. I think the fact that one would have to deal with the crap of each country, wait for the transcripts to get there, have them translated officially and then sent to amcas or aacomas makes it less important if the grades counted at another uni. I don't know if I flew under the radar or what, but that is what happened with me.

I just requested the WES evals and sent in the transcript requests. I will request it from India as well. I was an undergrad there.
