Hi, guys
New to this site. Hope to get some info on Optometry. Ok, I am a foreign student in US. I study molecular biology in a grad school. But my real passion is optometry because I was optometrist in my country and I like the lifestyle of optometrist. So I am planning to go to optometry school and continue my optometrist career. Although I can manage OAP and financial requirement, I am not sure as a US nonresident what is the chance to get working VISA (H1b) sponsorship after my graduation. Is Optometrist demanding enough that employers are willing to hire and sponsor a nonresident? Welcome your input.
