I personally am not but we have a pharmacist in my classes from Korea.
She is taking all of our classes with us and everything.[/QUOTE
She could have just takenthe (FPGEE) foreign pharmacy graduate equivalency exam as a pre-requisite for the 1500 hours ( Internship).
That is the first option, Im thinking of doing, then take the national licensure and the State licensure exams( Massachusetts) after the internships. Once Im already a license pharmacist, I'll take the non-traditional PharmD pathway for working pharmacist.
Another option is to take the PCAT and go through the accelerated pharmD program now. Here in Worcester, MA. they offered an accelerated program for transfer pharmacy students as well as foreign graduates for only 3 years. But I guess the amount of time this option takes is longer than the first option.
Well, I wonder how many foreign graduates did the first option, and how many of them also did the second option. I would like to know, which options is better. Any comments are highly appreciated. Thanks and Im looking forward to hear from anyone out there. 😍
