Even if it's not on a Secondary, schools may ask for foreign transcripts. Generally it should be expected that a transcript translation service interpretation needs to be provided, so the courses taken and grades earned will be expressed in US equivalencies. While filling in AMCAS application, it says that for all courses done at foreign institutions transcript exception need to be requested. But again it says that individual schools may request for foreign transcript in their secondary application.
Did any of you get into a situation where you were asked for foreign transcript at secondary application.
Thanks
1) Some schools will accept foreign prereqsAll the prerequisites(BCPM ) courses were done here in USA. Do schools want to look for course work outside of prerequisites
did you complete all the prereqs here in usa. I did 3 1/2 years of schooling with all prereqs done here in usa.
hmug,I did my undergrad in Australia. Once my primary was sent, I contacted each school directly and asked them whether they wanted a copy of my original transcript, WES evaluation, or both. Every school is different, and each wanted different things.
hmug,
I have few questions for you.
Did you complete your entire undergrad in australia or Did you transfer your credits to US university.
Did you have to do any course work done in US. In the secondary application was there a prompt for you submit your foreign transcripts or you submitted them by your own.
Please let me know
Most schools didn't want my foreign transcripts, but if you get a secondary/II/A from a school at some point in the process they will definitely want your foreign grade evaluation. Were there any schools that told you that submission of foreign transcripts was not necessary?
