If you were a complete mess-up from ages 16 - 21 in college, getting nothing but a B, a bunch of W's, F's, D's (even in sciences)... and came back to school at 23/24 and straightened up, do schools forgive you? If so, which ones are known for to be open to the students like that? If it's pointless to try after such a bad start, then it's better to quit now then continue with Organic and upper div. Bio. What do you think?

Life is full of road blocks. All schools know this, but what they want to see is how you survived it all. Be honest about it in your personal statment. Write about what you went through and how your experiences will make you a great health professional.

Do well in your science courses and DAT. Try to volunteer in a dental office.

Don't let a few bad years win over persuing your dreams. If this is what you want...then go for it!

Good Luck!
