Format of CK?

Hey guys,

I apologize in advance if this has already been answered...is the format of CK the exactly the same as USMLE World? I am especially dependent on the highlighting function (which is great!) and want to make sure that they have this on the real exam! Or wise the test day would be a real disaster!

I took step 2ck last november. I noticed less (15 answer choice) questions. Most of my questions were straight 5 choice answers. I had 4-5 imbedded multimedia q's where I had to use the headphones to listen. I had 5-10 sequential (cannot go back and change answer ) questions. I had 10-20 repeated exactly questions from uworld. Most importantly, I had 20-50 straight from Goljan step2ck review audiotapes that have floated around. I had 10-20 straight out of step up to step2 ck. I had tons repeated from crush and secrets. So NO ONE BOOK is best for this test. I also did a lot of podcast studying from websites like medpod101.com.

The test covered the gamut and in each subspecialty there was a 'specialist question' that seemed to go over and above my level of knowledge.
