I'm new to this forums and an incoming college freshman. I was wondering how the format of the AMCAS application is and what type of questions they ask. Thanks.

You can look up for that info from the AMCAS website:

http://www.aamc.org/students/amcas/amcas2007.htm

It includes the ff:
1. Personal Info/Background info
2. educational info, degrees earned
3. courses taken, including grades and credits earned (this is the most extensive part)
4. Activities, extracurriculars, awards/honors earned
5. Essay or personal statement (very important part)
6. List of schools applying to.

Everybody else just add to this list if I forgot anything pertinent.
