Former engineers now residents/MS4's, did you put engineering projects in ERAS/CAS?

I have 2 engineering projects from undergrad that I spent 6-12 months on, each. One is gen surg related and the other is more basic science/device related. I'm applying for ophtho. Should I list these 2 projects under "Research activities, papers and/or additional information?"

Yes, do it. Interviewers will think it's super fascinating and it will make you stand out. I talked a lot about engineering in my residency interviews.

Thanks! Another opinion I got was that since it's not ophtho related, no one will care. Personally I think it would be unique and I'm inclined to include it
