Hello everyone,
Planning on taking the DAT at the end of this upcoming summer, just trying to come up with an idea of a schedule while still on break. I found this very useful 8 week program: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=719365 , which is probably what I will use since I plan on studying for 2 months. I will be on the lower end of the GPA scale when I apply (plan to have a 3.2-3.3) so I really need to kill the DAT.
I was wondering if I could get some advice on how you studied for the DAT. Did you treat studying like a job, and study 9-5 everyday 8 hours? Did you study 7 days a week, 6 days with one off, or just take a few random days off? I'm asking because I know it is going to be hard to study during the summer when it is nice out and everything is going on. What do you think about working 1 day a week to maintain a little cash flow? Also, I have an idea what study materials to use, but where is the best place to actually purchase study materials for the DAT (amazon, program websites, past DAT takers on SDN)? Thanks! 👍
