Rumor is that Missouri did a cut off of 3.7 GPA this year.

Here's the thread that contained that information. True or not, the thread is nearly seething with Missouri hate.

Thanks for finding that Mizzou post TT. Now I kinda know why I was waitlisted...boo on you Mizzou, look past the GPA. How could you not accept my shark and pregnant otter vet experience? Come on, I spent hours with my hand down in a shark's mouth for you!!!

yes i do have hate for MO because i spent SO much time on their 4-5 supplemental essays. They shot us down about 2 weeks after our supp apps were due! they didnt even read them!! ARGGG

A MO vet student also wrote the avg GPA down as around 3.7 and i didnt believe it so i looked it up and sure enough MO does actually have a high avg GPA. I guess we all missed that because who would have known?? its not like it is ivy league or top ranked.

anyway, i did hear that the people who were invited to MO absolutely loved the school even though they weren't expecting to. i even know people who chose to go there OOS over their IS school.
