i recently was at my local spca, and was told about a program called hospice~~basically hospice for animals. this was the first i have heard of it~~i have not done a google search or asked about it at work, but was posting here first to see if anyone has experience with this form of care?

i haven't had an animal in a hospice program, but I now people in vet school who have been on the giving end, and it really seems like a great program that really honors the human-animal-bond and makes a huuuge difference.

There's a hospice vet in my area. Honestly, I don't know much about him but I know he exists. 🙂 It would definitely be interesting to shadow him for a day or two.
