Has anyone heard of this series of books? If so, what do you think? They seem pretty cheap for path books, just wondering!

Thanks!

One of the other residents in my program picked up the GI volume and it looks very nice. I pre-ordered the GU volume awhile back. When it turns up I'll give you some more details. Hopefully it won't suck.

I like the GI book, I looked at it briefly awhile back. They are obviously not meant to be exhaustive reviews of esoteric diseases. But I found them very good for reviews of basic, commonly seen diseases (i.e. types of gastritis). I would imagine they would be very good for someone who is learning about a certain area, or someone who doesn't see a ton of cases in the area.

I believe there were also lots of charts, algorithms, and helpful images. It is not as text heavy as other books.

I like them. I have the GI and neuro books.
I have the GI, Breast and Neuro.

Pretty nice books with good pictures for the price.

Can easily be read while rotating through a service and easier to lug around than Rosai. Love the WHO as well however that series can be less helpful in a practical approach to signing out cases.

I would try and borrow or look at a copy before buying it... Might just not be your style. Elsevier lets you check out the book for a month before commiting to buy it. You can also chaeck them out at most update cources or conferences (USCAP, ASCP etc)
