Escharotomy takes about 5 minutes. Less bleeding too.

Just like an amputation that you're leaving open. You're literally just cutting muscle, so it's pretty quick.

Just do it the same way you do an "attending placed foley".
Push hard. Go deep.
But yeah, this isn't an airway. You don't need to do it that emergently. The orthopod could come in and do it.
