Anyone know how these things are actually "discovered"? We know they exist, all you do is add a proton. Theoretically there are an infinite number of atoms yeah? What do you have to do to prove that you've created it, how do you create it, etc?

As far as I know these 4 elements are only found in the laboratory setting and not in nature. As for proving it? Beats me.

Theoretical elements lol. They don't do that because they like to name the elements based off who discovered them or what place they were in when it happened lol.
