just got accepted to FPU in AZ! seeing if anyone else got accepted or has any insight into the program??

When did you get your email confirmation that they were sending your application to admissions? I applied mid october and i still haven’t heard back..

I submitted my application on October 20th. Got an email on Oct. 26th that they were doing an initial screening of the application. Then I got an email on Oct. 27th that it had passed the initial screening and was being sent to the faculty for review. Got an acceptance email on Dec. 11th.

Also, I am not accepting the seat. I got into my top school and will be going there. Hopefully it opens up a seat for someone! Good Luck!

I got accepted and am planning to attend! If the hybrid passes do you plan on learning from home or relocating to the area (if you're not from the area)?

If I may ask, when did you turn in your application? I'm still waiting on a response, but i'm getting nervous because I haven't heard back yet.

I turned mine in at the end of September. Didn't hear back for a while.
 
I find that FPU's 100% pass rate amazing but unfortunately I turned down my acceptance due to getting accepted into my top program! Good luck all!

Wow congratulations on getting into your top program!! 😊 i’m still waiting to hear back from them, so hopefully i’ll hear back soon!
 
I still have not heard back as well. Getting a little worried but there is still time!

I havent heard back either and I submitted in October. I try calling and emailing and haven't been able to get ahold of a person.
 
I've been following this thread for quite some time now. I applied late OCT and found out a few weeks ago I was accepted. For those of you who are planning to attend, do you have any information on the hybrid program and its approval status? There's a significant difference in financial cost between the residential and hybrid program so any insight would be appreciated! I looked on the CAPTE website and wasn't able to find anything so I'm a little concerned.

I haven't heard back either. I emailed them last week, but I haven't heard back yet! Please post something here if you get any updates and I will too!

I emailed them earlier this week asking for an update on my application status since i haven’t heard back and they responded in two days telling me my application is with the program director but other than that no status updates.

I sent an email on January and haven’t gotten a response. Tried calling and haven’t been able to get ahold of the guy. Always sent to voicemail 😅

Unfortunately, I don't know too much information either on the hybrid program. I would try emailing them and calling them to request for information. I've been reading that many people try to call, but they aren't receiving any calls back.

I emailed them probably late January and I received an email (about a week after) saying that it's still under review with the department... and that if we haven't heard anything from them, we're still considered as a potential candidate. But the email didn't tell have any information about approximately when we might hear about the decision.
 
I hope we hear back soon! I got accepted into a program on the east coast and they start in a couple months.. But Franklin Pierce is my top choice so i’m just praying for an answer soon!

I actually gave them a call and was able to reach someone. Basically it looks like CAPTE will make the approval decision at its 4/23-4/27 meeting. It doesn't seem like CAPTE often says no to programs making changes but fingers crossed
 
Just got my offer today, but I will be turning it down. Good luck to the rest of you ~

Update-
I got an email from them yesterday stating i got a “proposed” seat from them.. I guess they’re requesting to add more seats to their fall 2021 cohort. So if it gets approved by CAPTE, i have a spot, and if not I have a guaranteed spot in the fall 2022 cohort.

Are the rest of the regular spots filled?
 
I received an email with a “proposed” seat yesterday. Basically we won’t find out if they are granted the option to open 24 more seats. If they do, I start in August of 2021, if not I am guaranteed a spot for August 2022. I guess the hybrid course is being pushed hard. Hopefully their proposal is accepted. Good luck to everyone
 
Providing everyone with an update regarding this program. So apparently the CAPTE rejected both their proposal to expand their class size and the proposal to switch to a hybrid program. I reached out to the program and wasn't really given any answers as to what the reasoning was behind the negative decision. I will be most likely forfeiting my deposit. Good luck to everyone!
