im kinda getting worried.

im taking my test Monday and I just did a 50 set of UWorld and got a 54% my lowest ever.

i feel like i used to know more than i do now and im just tumbling downward.

i have taken NBME1/2 about 4 and 2 weeks ago got a 226/228.

but it all seems to be going downhill now and i'm forgetting everything.

my plan is to read FA till the end, but im wondering if anyone has any better suggestions? and do you guys think its a good idea to take the last day or last afternoon before the test off from studying?

I put in a good 12hr day of studying yesterday (the day before my exam). Honestly, I don't think it made a single difference. It did help in that I passed out at like 9pm from being so tired from studying all day. So I got in a good 9hrs of sleep before my exam. The sleep was probably key because I didn't feel "brain fatigued" at all through my exam.

I wouldn't let a single low score worry you -- 50 questions isn't really a large enough sample, plus USMLE world shouldn't be used as an assessment tool. Everyone on here says the NBME exams are good for that. My advice it to study hard until the day before the exam, but stay on a somewhat normal sleep schedule so you won't be screwed up for the exam day. I didn't sleep well the night before, so make sure you get enough sleep in the few days before as well as the night before. The day before the exam, I did my usual routine of 50 questions in the morning, then a bit of studying until noon. Then I called it quits and relaxed for the afternoon and evening. You've studied a lot for this exam -- a few more hours the day before isn't going to make a huge difference and could possibly send you into panic mode. I highly recommend blocking SDN on your computer in the days before the exam too, since seeing all the people aiming for 260's on here really started to stress me out. Good luck!

One 54% on UW isn't bad at all!

I agree with blz... the 2 days before the test I was worthless. Got 8 hours of sleep both nights, and it really gave me the energy to go right through the real thing. The last thing you want going into this test is to be sleep-deprived, IMO. It's an endurance test.
