Hi there,

I've been doing UW for a few weeks now, scoring 68%
I did the FRED sample test today and did pretty bad... does anyone have the Kaplan answers for this exam?

Also for someone who's aiming to get >240, what should be the score in the FRED?

Thanks

I just did my CK. Scoring 68% cumulative on UW. Did the the Sample the day before the exam: 114/137: 83%........but I've heard the sample doesn't correlate well with the real score. One of my friend had 40 qs wrong in the sample and got 241....
waiting for my results

Thanks for the replay...
It's kind of depressing, feeling that you're doing good on UW and then having 30 mistakes in the sample exam considered to be the easiest...

I know the only exam that matters is the actual one, but still something like that puts you a little down

I actually didn't think the sample test for step 2 was all together as easy as the one for Step 1. Also felt some blocks on the real thing had similar type questions. I got a 70% and according to medfriends that's a 177
Took two nbme's and was not in that 177 range AT ALL. Then again, still waiting on my score and did not feel all chipper walking out of the exam.

studying for step1 felt so clean. there was one premier resource, all my qbank scores were similar, the nbmes predicted my exact 3 digit score, and i felt awesome after i walked out of the test.

studying for CK is like having someone repeatedly jam a needle driver into my eyeball. i'll average 83% on 7 blocks one day and the next i'll pull a 55%. my nbme and uworld assessment has a 50 point discrepancy. first aid sucks and i haven't liked any other resources. kaplan and uworld qbanks disagree with each other all the time. many 'next best step' answers are the complete opposite of what i see in real practice everyday.

i can't wait for this crap to be over

tell me about it!!!
never mind discrepancy between Kaplan and UW, I sometimes find it only in UW 🙂

I've been scoring much higher then I did for Step 1 on UW, but appertnly it has no correlation with the actual grade, or so I hear from people...

4 more weeks!
