I couldn't find any info on this in other threads, but I took the 150 at a prometric site today....are the three blocks generally of equal difficulty? Or of random subject distribution? I'm asking because I had about a 20% discrepancy between some of the sections...the highest block was the last one, but that still doesn't seem typical...

I had a similar experience when I took my free 150 at prometric. I wouldn't use your average score as a prediction, but your most common score. For example, my scores for the three sections were 80, 81 then 95. My average score was 85, which was equal to a 249 on the real exam (according to medfriends), however a score of 80-81% was equal to about 240. My real step I score was 241.
