Hey guys,

So my test is in 2 wks, and I was wondering what the difference was between the test that they offer for free on the ADA website and the practice exam you have to pay for?

To anyone who has taken both:
1) How much different is the one you have to pay for vs. the free one.
2) Are they a good representation of what's on the actual test?

Thanks!!!

You absolutely need both. The 2009 DAT is the best representation of the real test, and your scores on that will be very close to your real DAT scores. It's all different questions too. You should get the paper based format so that you can keep reviewing the questions. I suggest taking it last, 3 days out from the exam. If you aren't happy with your 2009 DAT scores you can always reschedule, it's not a big deal. I rescheduled and it definitely paid off.

Is the 2009 DAT part of the Kaplan course? I've noticed different sections of the course pop up with a headline at the top of the page with DAT 2009 but didn't know if that's what it meant or not. Would hate to pay for the exam through ADA if I've already purchased the material through the Kaplan course
