Found this on another site - epocrates essentials costs $149 on epocrates.com 😀

Free Epocrates for a year. You can get the expensive Epocrates upgrade with the symptoms, diagnoses, tests, etc. for free courtesy of the American College of Cardiology.

1. http://www.cardiosource.com/register.asp and create an account for free
2. go to http://www.cardiosource.com/mobileresources/index.asp and look for the Epocrates Essentials section (4th one down).
3. Follow the instructions (the download link from that site doesn't work, but check your email after you selected for the Epocrates Essentials. the email link through the actual Epocrates site works).

When I "request a product license code", I get an error telling me to contact customer service. Did you have this problem?

I have the program installed, just need the key.

I am still using the free full version of Epocrates that I got through the cards site mentioned above. I got it ~ 10 months ago.

I ran into some trouble also, and I actually thought the free promotion had expired. For some crazy reason, I emailed ePocrates support and told them that I was having trouble getting my free subscription to work and told them about the offer on the website.

I don't remember exactly what happened -- they might have sent me a new code or something?? It was awhile ago.
Anyway, after talking with ePocrates customer service they honored the free promo, and I had a working version of ePocrates Essentials immediately.

Anyone have any luck with this lately? I'm registered, but in order to get the code they say I have to do the $99 registration. I thought it was free?

I think they took it down because so many people ended up getting it!

I don't personally think it's very good. They have a feature that lets you put in Sx and it gives you a differential that is really off-the-wall.
