free kaplan ebooks

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
They tend to do that using the ipod ibooks reader. I downloaded almost everything last time and it was a GREAT deal.

Thank you SOOOOO much, that is an awesome resource! You just saved me a ton of money (and I didn't even have to switch to Geico).😀

Thank you! 😍

When I checked yesterday, no Kindle format, but today.... Kindle too! I grabbed a bunch of goodies!

FYI, if you want to do it the easy one-click way, go to Amazon and do a search on Kaplan in the Kindle section..... order the list by price and all the free ones come up first.

are these only in the book reader formats or is there a chance they'll release pdf files?

Not 100% sure, but you may be able to use calibre to convert the ebook formats to pdf.... it certainly converts pdf's to the ebook formats easily enough.... try downloading some of the Sony stuff onto your PC and play with it....

Doing the happy dance tonight!

For people without eReaders:

Go to the Barnes and Noble website - look for the Nook page. You can download a free Nook application for a number of devices, I just picked the PC option. Took 5 minutes.

Then, create an account- this requires a credit card/debit, even though you won't be charged. +5 more minutes.

Then simply copy/paste the isbn numbers into the B&N search, download your book into your account and you are all set!

It literally took me fewer than 30 minutes to install the software and purchase ($0.00) 27 books. I'm soooooo excited.

Also, I haven't looked into it yet, but they have a "share" feature- so I think you can share these downloaded books with family/friends for no charge. It's a little like iTunes, in that you have an online library that you can access at any time...so if I decided to purchase an actual eReader (Nook) at some point, they are still there and can come with me.

Love this! 👍

Thanks OP. It's never too early to start studying for the my Step 3's. 😛

They only had the bio book availabe and then they made everything else available. With all the free books i have, my kindle has pretty much paid for itself.
Kindle also has the pc option or the ereader for phones so for those who don't own the device, it might be worth looking into those options.

Yuk it up, but some of us do have to take Step 3 this year. :d

Thanks for telling us about this, Cook. I'm planning to get a Kindle in the near future, but I was still able to download the Step 3 book straight to my computer for now. Wish they had the Step 3 Qbook--wonder why only Step 1 and CK? But I downloaded the Diagnoses from the Dead and To the Rescue too just because they sounded interesting.

The Kindle has come down in price so much, I even considered buying one. 🙂

Thanks for sharing this.

I just wanted to add that the offer has been extended to 1/17/2011.

Please have a wonderful day.
