I have a Western Digital NAS, 1TB plugged into a wireless router, cost about $175. The way it's set up I can only access it from home. Cloud storage is accessible anywhere.

2gigs for free and uses your mac as a server. I just created an account. I want a free server ..

Yeah it shows up as a regular folder. BTW, if you have an iPhone you should get the app. Then you can access everything in your dropbox from your phone.

If you're a MAC guy, do you use Mac Mail / Mobile Me? I think either offer the IDisk, which is a great free server for all intents and purposes. I wouldn't say it's the fastest uploading to IDisk, but it's drag and drop, couldn't be easier...
