Hi, guys, this is a info. i got yesterday.
I am attending George Mason University and I saw this post that says Free Practice DAT and other medical school exams(PCAT, MCAT whatever...).
it's on March 4th on Saturday.
I called 1-800-Kap-Test, told them where I live, and they signed me up for this free practice test.
They said it's not computer based test, although it's the same kind of test and you will get the grade from it. This grade won't be sent to schools by the way.

I haven't taken Organic chemistry, and English is 2nd language. I don't even remember how i balanced the equation in inorganic chem. I am still taking BIO. So, basically, my goal is 5 out of 30 in average

But anyway...I still got plenty of time before to take the real DAT and there is nothing to lose by taking this one. I just thought that it would be a great experience for me and those of you who haven't taken the real thing. Just call 1-800-Kap-Test and tell them that u want to take it. that's all u need to sign up for it.

This is the same test they have online. I went to one of kaplan's DAT practice test only to find out that it was the same test I took online. Don't waste your time.

Yes the proctored test Kaplan offers for free is the same one available online when you register at the kaptest website.

If you have taken the online one it's a waist of time to do it again, but if you have never taken it before, then it's great for practice.

How about going to their website and searching it for like 2 minutes?

Good to see you again, Joon. I hope you do well on the DAT. As to answer your post, I never took a free practice test by kaplan. However, I believe it would be wiser if you prepare for an exam before taking it, even a practice one. I wish you the best in whatever decision you make though.

Take care,
Rich

Taking as many practice tests as possible will only imporve you test taking skills and show the areas in which you are deficient and need more study.

Good point. I usually read up on the stuff first and then take a practice test because I was weak on almost everything, except Math and Reading comprehension of course. My math score stayed pretty much the same, as well as my reading comprehension. Didn't practice much on those two areas. But, my science scores skyrocketed.
