For free radical halogenation, is the main product formed the one that forms the most stable radical intermediate? Is there a difference between using Br2 or Cl2? Thanks.

Isn't Cl2 usually more stable than Br2?

but do we have to take into account the selectivity of using br2 or cl2, or just know that the more stable carbocation is the major product. TPR made a distinct difference in major product when using cl2 and br2 due to the reactivities.
