A friend just signed a deal with Bank of America where he gets 100% financing on his house without the need for mortgage insuracne - a small perk for being a physician. I've checked it out, and requires a decent credit rating, and is supposed to be for first-time physician home-buyers, though this is his second purchase. Anyhow, this makes me wonder what other perks there are out there for those of us who have taken the eternal road of education and suffered through our training, internship, and residency? If you've run across any notable freebies, and would be willing to share, please let me know. Truly interested, and very curious.

sorry for linking to a site with an ugly color scheme 😀 and annoying javascript tricks that move the window around to the upper left, but this page was the best source of info:

perversely, i couldn't find anything directly on bankofamerica.com.

wow...a very generous loan ($650,000)with no PMI! Nice Perk! Any residents familiar with this type of loan from BofA?

go to the finance forum on SDN- there is tons of talk of various physician loans. I got one from BoA 100% no PMI.
