Freshmen or Sophmore

Wait.. Is this a serious question? Just enter the course in whatever year you took it in. If you're a non trad or have a special circumstance, you have got to explain it, man. We're not mind readers.

In any case, does it really even matter? It'll give you the same overall GPA as long as you enter the correct grades and credits, right?

Sorry for the confusion.I had special circumstances because I did not take a full course load in my first and second year, and I took summer courses so I don't know how to classify some of the courses.
First, in my first undergrad year I took 4 full courses..so these would go under freshmen. My second year was part time and I took 3 full courses. Would these 3 courses go under Freshmen or Sophmore?
Second, I took two 2nd year courses during the following summer. Would they be classified as Sophmore?
Third, I took a fifth year to complete my undergraduate degree because I had to repeat 3 half courses (not because I failed the courses but to improve marks on those courses) so I'm not sure whether to classify the fifth year courses as Senior or Sophmore since they are 2nd year courses?

Also, in regards to summer classes, straight from AAMC:

"Courses taken in the summer should be entered with the next academic year, even if your institution considers them in the previous year. For example, if you took a course in the first summer session of 2011, you should enter it as 2011–2012 academic year, even if your school considers it in the 2010–2011 academic year."

If you had to repeat a course, you fill it out when you first took it as well as when you retook it, and on AMCAS you check the box for "retake"

Google is a wonderful machine. 👍
