Can anyone speak to the accuracy of the required scores listed for Peds programs (or any programs for that matter) on Frieda? For example, if a programs lists their minimum step 1 as 210, can anyone personally attest to getting an interview with a score less than the min? Thanks

While I don't know much about specifically board scores, I have noticed that the majority of the info on there seems accurate, but I have definitely noticed some discrepancies on interview days. Mostly in the benefits. Which seems weird to me because that info is provided by the programs and is updated annually....

My guess is that it depends on the program and how updated the page is kept by the program. I certainly wouldn't let a 'minimum score' keep me from applying if I didn't meet that score.

So, two things to remember:
(1) All the information on FRIEDA comes from surveys sent to program coordinators and updated on irregular basis. There's no one checking it for accuracy and some programs may wait years before resubmitting the survey.

(2) Every program page on FRIEDA has the contact information for a program coordinator or other point person who is designated to respond to inquiries from potential house staff candidates. In the old days that's all that existed, and those people would have to field hundreds on phone calls and letters requesting information. They should be more than accustomed to answering a polite simple question like this. E-mails are cheaper than application fees.
