Reapplicant. No interviews for 1st time. Hell, half the 14 or so schools I applied to didnt even bother to give me a rejection letter/email.

Brought my oGPA up from 3.06 --> 3.22 /// sGPA up from 2.80 --> 3.03 (sGPA w/o +- is 2.97 will this be a problem?)
Bombed DAT first time (16RC) and made up for it on a retake and got the scores written below in my signature.
Also did about a hundred more hours of shadowing at a local dental office.
App sent in 2nd batch (7/5).

Will I rise from the abject failure of last cycle? I feel confident that I'll get into at least 1/15 schools I applied to. My main concern is will I get into UoP, UNLV, or NYU?

Edit: One more question. Should I continue taking more classes to raise my GPA?

When did you apply the first time?

I feel you will get in this year.

I applied last cycle. And this cycle makes my second try.

Congrats on the great scores Blake1e! I'm a reapplicant as well (I had one interview last cycle but was not given admission since my DAT scores weren't as high compared to the other applicants) but everything happens for a reason and it's good to stay positive throughout this process.

With your DAT scores, I couldn't imagine you not getting interviews at NYU/UoP/UNLV. I would suggest that if you need to take more classes, do so. If you can get your overall GPA closer to a 3.3, I'm sure this cycle will be a success. 🙂

Started from the bottom now we here

@Laughinggas I think it was batch 4 or 5.

@paperclips Thanks for the vote of confidence. Im still debating on whether or not I should take another semester.
